Q: Who are we?
A: Parents concerned about the rising cost of education who thought of an easy way for you, your family and friends to help raise money for your children’s education by just doing the things they normally do - use and search the web.

Q: How does SkyMana work?
A: You set up an account on SkyMana and we create a custom Google like search page for you that you can set as your home page and as your default search provider. Then just use the page for web searches like you normally do but instead of all of advertising revenue generated from your searches going to Google, a portion of it goes to you. While you can generate a reasonable amount of income by just using this yourself, the real opportunity to generate earnings occurs when you share your web page with friends and family and then they use your search page to help you raise money as well.

Q: How much can I expect to earn?
A: This varies greatly depending on how many visitors there are to your page, the types of search queries that they make and the amount of money advertisers pay for those types of queries. The  ads displayed on your search result pages are cost-per-click (CPC) ads. This means that advertisers pay when users click on ads shown on your page. You'll receive a portion of the amount paid for either activity on your website. Regardless, the greater number of visitors to your site the greater your opportunity to generate income.  The best way to find out how much you'll earn is to sign up and start using your page. Q: When will I get paid?
A: Once you have an account, you can track the balance of your account anytime at www.skymana.com/User/AccountIncome. Your earnings total is updated every week according to the amount of visitors and number of searches from the prior week. Once your account total reaches $50 or more in a given month we will send you a check to the address you provided at sign up.

Q: What will my custom search page look like?
A: You can view a sample of the page we create here. As you will see it is very simple and efficient homepage.

Q: Is any software installed on my computer?
A: No. Our service is completely web based and works just like Google search does.

Q: What are the tax implications of using your service?
A: We do not provide any tax advice. Contact your tax planner for information on how to treat the income received from this site.

Q: I want to send another email to encourage my family and friends to use my SkyMana search page. How do I do that?
A: Log into SkyMana. Click on the “Email Invite” button to send another email to friends and family or you can forward the "Welcome" email you received during signup.

Q: How do I know if my family and friends are using my SkyMana search page?
A: Since we greatly value your privacy, we do not track any of the email addresses used to invite your friends and family and therefore have no way of tracking them as visitors to your SkyMana search page. As a result, we encourage you to send your family and friends reminder emails asking them to set their search page to your SkyMana search page. Don’t let them forget that this will help you raise money for your children’s education.

Q: Are the any fees associated with the SkyMana program?
A: No, there are no fees to you. We generate income from advertisers who pay to advertise on the searches you do. We then share a potion of the income with you.

Q: I have more than one child. Do I need to open an account for each child?
A: You can open more than one account but we recommend opening a single account for all of your children. You can enter multiple beneficiary names and by opening a single account you will be able to reach an account total of $50 more quickly and therefore recieve payments more often.

Q: Should my husband and I each open a seperate account?

Q: Is SkyMana part of or affiliated with Google?
A: No, SkyMana is a small independant company that thinks Google is a great search engine but who also thinks that you, the user, should get a portion of the advertising income.
